Hour4our and Rotary Club of Kelowna Capri
Funds from Hour4our Foundation allowed Kelowna Rotary clubs to provide this Pollinator Garden to Karis Support Society in Kelowna.
Cameron Park and Sarson's Beach
An agreement was reached with Kelowna Parks to plant Pollinator Gardens in two locations in the summer of 2023.Six Kelowna Rotary Clubs assisted with the cost and work of planting the Gardens at Cameron Park and Sarson’s Beach Park.

Six Rotary Clubs in Kelowna helped fund and plant the gardens at these two sites .
Pollinator plants were added to the Peace Gardens at JoeAnna’s House inJune /23
Lockie Bracken (Capri Club) stepped up to coordinate our Kelowna Clubs.
- He is an experienced gardener/landscaper inand Rotarian.
- Partnered with the city and parks representatives to find locations for new garden projects.
- Coordinated the donations from the clubs to set up a Pollinator Fund for these and future Pollinator projects. $4700
- Communicated project dates and volunteer opportunities.
